Fatuma Nakirya was born on March 5th 2021. Fatuma is a sweet and playful little girl who loves jumping rope with her friends. Sadly, she never got to meet her father, who tragically drowned while fishing. Fatuma now lives with her single mother, who works hard every day to provide for the family but struggles to make ends meet. Because of financial hardship, Fatuma has never had the opportunity to attend school. Still, she dreams of one day becoming a kindergarten teacher—to nurture and guide children just like herself.
